New license obtained, reinstall the compiler?

Last month I downloaded the trial version ifort on Mac, and it expired a couple days ago.

Now I bought a formal license... I am trying to find the license file to insert my new # so that I can avoid the reinstallation...but did not find that file... look forward to your instruction.

First register the new S/N # at the Intel Registration Center (here) after which a new license file (.lic) will be emailed to you. Drop that new .lic file onto the system into: /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses and the compilershould pick it up.

If you lost track of the license file, you should be able to get another copy e-mailed from https://registrationcenter.intel.com Then you can simply copy it into the licenses directory. While you're about it, you could consider looking for a compiler update on registrationcenter.
Re-installing the compiler or an update, if you have internet access, by entering the license key, should create a new license file.
