Hi,
Ihave an Intel Visual Fortran Compiler (Version 9.1.3192.2005) running together with Visual Studio (Version 2.0.50727 SP1).I have used this compiler to link a DLL which is to run together with another program. This works fine on the machine with the compiler installed, but not on other machines.
Ihave tried to install the VC2005 Redistributables Package. The "Dependency Walker" complains about msvcr80.dll and libmmd.dll and these are copied to the target computer and the "Dependency Walker" has stopped complaining, but the DLL does not load.
Ihave tried several other hints found on the web without any successful result.
TheCompaq Visual Fortran PE 6.6A compiler has no problem making portable DLLs.
Regards,
Rune

The version of Dependency Walker you are using probably doesn't understand shared assemblies. Get a new one from dependencywalker.com Make sure that the DLL is built as a Release configuration and not Debug. Use Dependency Walker to identify the Intel DLLs you need, which probably includes libifcoremd.dll.
