Steve,
Our clients need to purchase more licenses of CVF (as our product is based on CVF).
Are licenses of CVF still being sold?
Does a license for IF7 (or IF8) entitle one to additional installations of CVF6.6?
Tim H
To anticipate the question, Since IF8 is not supporting the same COM development capabilities of CVF and the speed tests do not show improvement over CVF, we will not beswitching to IF8.
Indeed I am not too clear as to what (other than the promose of future developments) would encourage anyone to give up CVF in favor of IF7 or 8.
The fact that we prepaid for IF7 in 2003Q1and did not receive the promised savings on IF8-Pro did not help our decision in favor of IF8 either.
Please correct me if I am wrong on anything.

HP is still selling CVF Standard licenses, not Pro.
A license for Intel Fortran does not grant use of CVF.
I don't understand your comment about "the promised savings". We did not promise anything initially, but have sinced announced that you can upgrade at significant savings ($300) over buying the Pro edition new.
