We have a need to roll out Fortran Redistrubutables to a large audience in our organization, we are planning on using Microsoft SCCM to achieve it -- When a updated version of redistributable is released by Intel, does the silent install overwrite the older redistributable (if any was installed?) if the new msi is run using /qn switch? or does it create another (side-by-side) install on the PC?

The Intel redistributables package doesn't use Side-by-Side. It replaces any older versions on the system. (Supposedly, it does check versions, but I wouldn't promise that without testing.)
