Safari has trouble loading the IVF forum page

Hi folks

Anyone else noticed that Safari doesn't want to load the page for this forum when accessed directly? Or in fact any of a number of Intel forum pages, but this is the one I visit most regularly (http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-visual-fortran-compiler-for-windows/)

I thought it might just be a temporary glitch but it's been driving me skats for months now. Every time I want to access these forums I have to access the page viahttp://software.intel.com/ - trying to get here directly just leaves the page loading ad infinitum. Interestingly, as soon as I have accessed it the long way around it loads quite happily.

Obviously there a bigger fish to fry out there, but it is an irksome blemish on IVF's perfection... And my day would certainly be happier for the glitch's absence.

And don't even dare suggest that the problem may actually reside on the side of my perfect Mac ;-)

I can't reproduce this on my "Hackintosh". Do you see the page at all when it does this?

Nope - all I see is a white page with the address bar indicating "loading". And that is how it stays...

I know that the first time you visit the site after a while of not visiting, it has to "re-authenticate" you and you may see it waiting for registrationcenter.intel.com for quite a while. This may be what you are seeing. It is independent of browser. I don't remember if Safari displays the site it is waiting for - if it does, what does it say?
