Hi Stev,

I want to do the co simulation with Adam 2013.2 and Easy5 2013. MSC support center asked me to install visual studio 2010 and then intel-visual-fortran 12.0. Can you provide me the link that I get visual-fortran 12.0 trial version for 30 days, as I am testing my first  trial. Though I register for the Intel site i got only https://registrationcenter.intel.com/en/products/ 2016 products.

Also if I could not get 12.0 compiler; may I use the 16.0 one and will it be allow me to do the Adam 2013.2 co simulations with Easy5 2013.

Looking forward your answer,

Regards,

Pramod

Hi Pramod - Since you already registered for the 30-day evaluation then you can obtain the older Intel® Fortran 12.0 release. Please refer to the knowledge base article How do I get an older version of an Intel® Software Development Product? for instructions on getting older versions.

I reviewed the Adams 2013.2 Installation and Operations guide and confirmed they stipulate using the Intel® Fortran 12.0 (Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler for IA-32 or Intel® 64, Version 12.0 Build 20110427). That specific version translates to the Intel® Fortran Composer XE 2011 Update 4 which is available via the Intel® Software Development Products Registration Center (IRC) so refer the earlier instructions for obtaining this release.

I cannot advise you about using a newer Intel Fortran compiler release with the Adams and Easy5 software because I do not know about their dependencies so I recommend you use the 12.0 version they stipulate for now, and not spend any of your 30-day trial time exploring using the newer 2016 release.

Good Luck. Let us know whether you have any other problems or questions.

Hi;

I am going to download Intel® Parallel Studio XE Composer Edition for Fortran Windows* { Version 2011, update 4} as you suggest . So I want to  confirmed again this is same as  “ Intel Intel Fortran 12.0 (Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler for IA-64, Version 12.0 Build 20110427) as this is suggested by Adams 2013.2 to do the co simulation with easy5 2013. . Kindly confirmed me.

Thanks,

Pramod

Yes, I already confirmed this before my earlier reply. You have a typo where you wrote, "IA-64". That's an Itanium designation. I'm sure you meant Intel® 64. Here are some additional details to confirm. The download file you want is named, w_fcompxe_2011.4.196.exe. The contents of that package include:

Package created for w_cprof_p_12.0.4.196
