VMWare ESX 4.1 guest with intel fortran 11

I'm starting to build a PC in VMWare ESX 4.1 and want to know what is the recommended virtual CPU and RAM setup.Are more cores or CPU's best? How much RAM should be assigned? I'm building a Windows 7 x64 bit PC

You can view the system requirements in the release notes. These are a minimum. I would recommend at least 2GB RAM - more cores/CPUs will give you better application performance, but not for the compiler itself so much.
