VS2022 crash with Manage NuGet Packages for Solution

Visual Studio 2022 hangs and then restarts if I use Tools->NuGet Package Manager->Manage NuGet Packages for Solutions...

On restart:  A previous session ended unexpectedly. Disabling the extension Fortran IDE 2023.2 might help. Disable this extension Manage performance Don't report this extension again

This was working fine for me with Visual Studio 2019, but is also crashing after installing VS 2022.

Any ideas?  I also tried this with VS 2022 17.7.3 with the same result.  I can report this with Intel Customer Support if need be, but thought I'd start here first.

Agreed.  You can disable the Fortran IDE extension, restart VS 2022 and use the NuGet package manager.  One thing that took me a while to figure out is that when you re-enable the extension you have to reload the Fortran projects, otherwise they remain incompatible.

I'm using VS 2022 17.6.5. and I've the same problem. After I deaktivated all Intel Extensions I could change the nuget packages.

Did you apply the VSIX patch for Fortran?

Yes, I applied the VSIX patch to the VS 2022 17.7.3 install I had originally - made no difference.

I uninstalled 17.7.3  and installed 17.6.4 LTS as it is the validated version to use with OneAPI 2023.2.

Is there a particular version of VS we should stop on so we do not have problems with 2024?

I am willing to bet good money that 2024 is released before 31 December, at least a zac.  Name of Australian currency.
