Version 11.0.039-beta does not uninstall completely

Hello!

I followed the instructions to remove Version 11.0.039 from my computer, as laid out in Section 1.5 of the Release Notes. However, the Intel Visual Fortran Integration for Visual Studio 2005 was not removed.

I want to install Version 9.1 of the Intel Fortran Compiler, and the 9.1 Integrations do not install. The problem is that converted projects into Version 11 are not backward compatible with Version 10 and previous of Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Integration.

Has anyone com across this issue?

Thanks and regards,

Daniel.

I've seen this, though let me comment that you are asked to use Intel Premier Support to report issues with the beta.

Uninstall version 11, then delete the "Intel Fortran" folder under Program FilesMicrosoft Visual Studio 8. Now try installing the older version.

Thanks Steve. I will use the Premier Support in future.

In what way is 11.0 integration not un-installed? If it still shows up in Add/Remove programs, doesn't the remove option work there? The 11.0 download and license won't go away unless you delete them in Windows, but those shouldn't impede an attempt to re-install an old version.

Well, I brought up this issue with "premium suport" more than a week ago, and haven't heard zilch from them about it.

Are they on vacation?

Tim,
The Integration Moduledoes not show separately in the Add/Remove Programs, as it was the case with previous versions. So, after you complete the uninstall procedure, the entry in the Add/Remove Programs list is removed. So you assume that everything was removed.
In my previous post, I said that the 9.1 Integration Module does not install, not the Compiler Modules. So in effect I ended up with the older version of the compiler and the newer integration.
Following Steve's instructions fixed my problem and I was able to remove the beta integration and install the old one.
Daniel.
