Other than the lack of mention of Vista as a supported OS in the System Requirements? Did you in fact install the 32-bit compiler? The installation guide says you must in order to use the IDE integration.

Nope, just trying to see if your 64-bit version will run on Vista 64-bit, which. Guess not yet, but at least you have a heads up for the integrations. Hope it comes a lot fast than 64-bit drivers for everything else..:)

I won't even try it on 32-bit since current solutions work well on XP.

Actually, the install doesn't give a choice for 32-bit installation on vista 64-bit.......

Everything else installed fine....

We've been aware of Vista issues for a while. Try running C:Program FilesIntelDownloadIntelFortranCompiler91CompilerIA32setup.exe (Might be under Program Files(X86).)

I am somewhat astonished that it "doesn't give a choice". When you get the screen with the checkboxes for product components to install, what's listed? I can't easily try this myself.

Thanks; I may be mis-remembering it, but all I recall seeing was boxes with "Install ... 64-bit..." for everthing

Sorry; I re-ran it and it installs the 32-bit compiler, the 64bit piece, the debugger, and fails on the integrations. I think it looks for the 32-bit compiler portion in Program Files and doesn't know about Program Files(x86) and thus does not find the 32-bit compiler portion.

Well, it works on WIndows XP x64, so there's got to be more to it than that. I don't know offhand which Vista issues the install team has seen already, but I do know that Vista is not yet a supported OS.

Got it to install! Key seems to be to install for all users, not just self (and possibly allow to update environment values)

Ah - the installer now (as of the past few updates) warns you about this when selecting whether or not to install for all users. Environment variiables don't matter.
