Hi there,
a colleague uses VS2003 with IVF8 right now. He will buy a new license for the IVF12 update later this fall.
Will IVF12 integrate in VS2003 or does he need VS2005 or later? He uses VS2003 because of some .NET1.1 projects he develops with another departement including IVF8 code.
Just to be sure: Does IVF12 open/import an IVF8 project or are there any major changes so that they are not compatible?
Thanks in advance,
Markus

The next major version of Intel Visual Fortran, call it 12 if you like, will not support VS.NET 2003. This is called out in the 11.1 release notes. Interesting question about a version 8 project - I think it will work but I don't know for sure. Generally you can open ollder IVF projects and they will convert. If you want to attach a .vfproj file I'll be glad to try it and see what happens (all I need is the .vfproj).
