can't suppress DENSE warnings by IMSL's DIVPAG routine

This is probably too obscure, but does anyone know if the following warning generated byIMSL's IVPAG(double precision version) can be suppressed? Calling ERSET does not seem to work.
INCLUDE 'link_f90_dll.h'

USE ERSET_INT

USE IERCD_INT

USE N1RTY_INT

...

CALL ERSET (3, 0, -1) ! should suppress warning messages (only)

However, this still results in the following error generated during the subsequent call to D_IVPAG:

DENSE - Warning!
The iteration did not converge.
Number of iterations was 50
Last iterate was 0.998422

Thanks much, Rolf
