ifort is not working

Hi everyone,

I just installed intel fortran composer Xe for linux. I think I have got everything right. I can locate the ifort using the command "which ifort". However, when I try to use ifort to compile a simple helloWorld program, it just nothing comes back. Then I tried ifort -V, and also nothing shows up.

I will appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

Did you use the "source" command to make the compiler available? Please show the command you used and the session output including use of "ifort'.
