The newer product installer is likely unable to deal with that older serial number.
When you or your advisor registered the serial number at the Registration Center to gain access to the latest product downloads, you should have received a copy of the license file (.lic) via email. Place that file on the system in a temporary location and direct the installer to that file when prompted during the installation.
If you do not have the license file then you can request it be re-emailed by logging into the Registration Center. The Knowledge Base article (here) has advice on doing this (see third issue in the list).

I download installation this morning, is that means I will get a new licence file through email? Actually, my advisor provided me one licence file which was provided by intel in 2006. Is file ok?
And what's meaning of direct licence file to installation? Does it mean I should put the licence file in installation folder?
Thank you very much for your help!

You won't get a license file just from downloading - you have to request that a license file be mailed to you. You can use the original license file. Just put it on your desktop or some place you can find. When you run setup.exe, one of the options will be to "browse for a license file". Give it the location of the file you saved.
