Hi,
I have worked for many years with Compaq Visual Fortran (the latest version that I used is 6.1.0).
In my new job I have Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Intel Visual FORTRAN compiler 11.0.
I didn't manage to open the Fortran from Visual Studio. I couldn't either see my previous projects in Visual Studio. I looked at Getting Started', but it didn't help much.
Once in Visual Study, I cannot see Fortran in the list of installed products, I do see Visual Basic, C++ and others, but no Fortran. Is it something missing in the installation?
Can you please let me know what I should to see my old project (if it is possible) or create new ones in this version? Thank you
Perhaps my question is too elemental; but very important as I can not continue with my work. I just need the initial advice to start working with this new version.
Thanks
Marcelo

It sounds like your Integrated Developer Environment (IDE) integration is not in Microsoft Visual Studio. What edition of Micorosft Visual Studio are you using (e.g. Team Station, Professional,...). We do not provide IDE support for the Express Edition of Microsoft Visual Studio.
One way to see if the IDE installed is Help=> About from inside Visual Studio. Fortran should be listed. If not (and you don't have the Express Edition) then try re-doing the install and see if you get an error message.
A quick little video to show how to use our compiler from Visual Studio (starring our own Steve Lionel :-)) is posted here.
