which DSP devolpment kit I need?

Recently, I have got a project about code compression using Wavelet. camera in , data compression, transfers or save. I want to use the DSP builder/ Matlab to finish the conversion of *.MDL to *.HDL. so I need a dsp development kits(now , i have a DE2 .) which one is the best choice? Give me more imformtion or advice. thanks!  2
