We are using the UMC h.264 decoder for decoding 1920x1080 yuv420@6mbit
on a intel xeon system we are measuring the following performance:
#core min fps / max fps
1 5.5 / 23.8
8 38.5 / 166.7
Not enough for realtime playback, are these values to be expected ?
Any sugguestions for improving playback ?

By using IntelH264Decoder, we can decode two 1080i29.97 streams simultaniouslyeasily in real-time at bit rate up to 25Mbps.
