InPainting only on 8bit

I need to use the InPainting function for 32bit data.
Will this be available in a upcoming and hopefully very soon release?
If not, perhaps someone can get help to get me going on writing my own version.

there are no plans to add 32bit data for this functionality into the nearest releasex and/or updates.
