Hi,
I would like to downloadsource code of MPEG-4 encoder and decoder (need part II visual) in order to execute it and run it for prepuce oflearning and better understanding of the MPEG-4 standard.
My conflict is: What will be the best source for the learning process and yet will have good encoding quality?
The options that I am familiar with are: IPP implementation, ore any OpenSource implementation Xvid or Divx and etc.
Thanks in advance for the reason recommendation,
Reuven

Hi Reuven,
I don't really understand your question, but anyway, I think that the best strategy is to try at least something. Want to learn MPEG4? So, go ahead, read standard, look at different implementations, compare with other video compression technologies. Be active, that usually helps:)

Tanks, however, after couple days of compiling and figuring out, it seams that the IPP is mach more documented, and more comfortable to migrate. So starting my diving with the IPP.
