MPEG2 Windows Media Player 11

Hi,

we use windows media player 9 and 11 to play movie files created with intel mpeg2.
With windows media player 9 everything works fine but with windows media player 11 we always get
the error message that the file can not be played because the file typ or codec is unsupport.
Has anyone an idea how we can solve this problem?

It seems that windows media player 11 do not support mpeg2 anymore.
I have installed the ffmpeg codec for mpeg 2 and now I can play movies again.
