Hi experts,

When I am using the UMC MPEG4 encoder and when encoding a macroblock is th enumber of encoded bits per VOP exceeds the maximum packet length.

You guys do something like this .

MBCurr.block[-i].validPredIntra = 0;

What does the negative indexing mean and also I don't find the validPredIntra in the MPEG4 standard.

Can you tell me what property in the standard does the validPredIntra refer to ?

Thanks,

Ram
