A new noise detectionfunction ippsFilterNoiseDetectModerate_EC_32f64f has been added in IPP 6.1.
This function Performs noise detection for EC noise filtering. Using this function in the echo canceller operations gives no misdetects during the normal speech and provides more stable NLP block performance on the signals with echo.
The difference between the other IPP function ippsFilterNoiseDetect_EC is that the noise detection isperformed on the signals containing echo provides higher noise mitigation by the following processing with the function ippsFilterNoise_EC.
