I have downloaded version 5.1 evaluation code. I have been trying to use the examples in Stewart Taylor's book. They were written for version 4.1. After some playing I got the project set up so that it would find the headers, etc. Then I discover that he uses function names that do not exist in version 5.1. (ippCoreGetCpuClocks). What's a person to do? Is there an easily available set of examples for version 5.1?
(Usually I can develope pretty well once I get the stuff started. The biggest challenge seems to be to get some program to run to start with.)
Thanks
JJ

Hi,
did not you find link to IPP examples on IPP main page?
You are right, API was changes from 4.1 version to 5.0 version (that was a tough decision but there were reasons for that). You can find full list of changes in IPP documentation.
Regards,
Vladimir

Dear Customer,
To find all update/removed APIs from 4.* to 5.*, please check the IPP support site at:
http://support.intel.com/support/performancetools/sb/CS-022833.htmand download the whole list to find updated APIs.
Sorry for this inconvenience it may cause.
