Hello IPP Team,
Does exist any plan for that ?
If yes, what performace improvements on the averageyoumight expect for typical video processing operations like filtering or ME assuming the same clock speed for PIV ?

Yes, the current Intel IPP v.40 does support Intel Pentium 4 Processors with Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology on High-Volume 90-Nanometer Manufacturing Technology (formerly codenamed Prescott). You can use the ipp*t7 version of libraries for such a CPU.

To get performance data on Prescott System, you can refer my posting at:

http://softwareforums.intel.com/ids/board/message?board.id=IPP&message.id=11 to see how you can measure those Intel IPP functions by using our perfsys tool.

Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Ying
