The h264 decoder in 5.2 can decodecorrupted frames, for example, truncated or ramdom bit flips, with some garbage lines. However, the h264 decoder in 5.3 returns an error with blank output, which is much less nicer than the old version.
This is ying from IPPsupport team. As i knew, we did somemodification in h264 decoder so it can decode more kind of corrupted streams,such asmissing frame etc.Regarding theproblem you mentioned, if possible, could you please provide us asmall test stream?
