The following is a question we received from one of our members, along with an answerprovided by ourthreading tool experts at Intel:

Q. Is there an Intel Thread Profiler 3.0 product for Linux*? I saw such a product for Windows* but not Linux*. I only saw Thread Checker 3.0 for Linux*.

A.At this time,there is no Linux* version of Intel Thread Profileroffered as a separate product. Customers requiring Linux* support should purchase the Windows* version and download, from Intel Premier Support(accessible after registering your software productfor support),the Linux* data collector that we are offering at no additional charge with the v3.0 product. A Windows* machine will be required to analyze the collected results.
