How two processes of a single application are assign to each core in Duo Core processor at the same time??

Hi All,

Iwant to know that when an application in javais run in core duo processor, and if that application follows divide and conquer rule which divides the application in two parts or processes , in this case how we can assignboth processes totwo coresat the same time for the execution?? Is it automatically assigned to each processor or we have to assigned it byprogramming??
