Win32 Fibers Poll

I'm curious about the use of fibers in Win32 threaded code. I've read about them and understand the concept, but I don't know if anyone has ever used them, and if so, how wide spread is that use in the industry.

Question: Have you used fibers in your Win32 programming and to what extent? If you've used them, please follow-up with some details about your experiences.

Well, of the participants that took the poll (all 5 of them) only 20% had even used fibers to some degree.

One of my college roommates used to say "Apathy is a vote for the winner." I'll assume that this is the case here and that most everyone else that didn't post an opinion have not used or even looked at Win32 fibers.

However, if there is anyone that has used them in some project or still uses them, I would be most interested in finding out more and hearing about your experiences. Post a note to this thread or start a new one.
