Jump to solution

Hi there,

I'm using NUC10i5FNH. I have updated latest BIOS BIOS Update [FNCML357] (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29924/BIOS-Update-FNCML357-?wapkw=NUC10i5FNH)

So I having an issue about turn off my NUC. My NUC always automatic restart when I shutdown PC (or push power button). The problem occurs when I edit the bios to Advanced, Power, Boot.

When I load the default setting bios (F9), the error is gone. I think the bios is faulty.

Please help me resolve this issue

huytbt, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In reference to this scenario, you said "when I edit the bios to Advanced, Power, Boot." could you please explain all the exact steps you do on the BIOS for the problem to occur, which settings do you change?

Is this a brand new Intel® NUC?

When did you purchase it?

Was it working fine before?

When did the issue start?

Did you make any recent hardware/software changes?

This problem was it happening before doing the BIOS update to the latest version 0046?

In order to try to fix this issue, we can try a BIOS recovery to the latest BIOS version 0046, which is the version currently installed but in some cases, the BIOS recovery fixes possible errors that might happen during the regular installation. In the following link, you will find the steps to do it, you will notice there are two ways to do it, you can use either one of those. After that, do the same changes on the BIOS and test it, once you get the chance, please let us know the results:

Thank @Alberto_R_Intel1 ,

The issue has been resolved. I found out the reason is the OS. I reinstalled the OS, updated to the latest version and the issue is gone.

Thanks for your great support.
