Intel's compatibility charts contain lists of only those devices that Intel has been provided with samples for testing. This is obviously a subset of the M.2 NVMe SSDs that are available and can be used.
Specifically,
- Yes, you can use any size of the Intel 660p M.2 NVMe SSDs. I have personally not tried using any of the Intel Pro 760p M.2 NVMe SSDs, but I see no reason why they should not also work (I have certainly not seen any posts that would indicate that there is any kind of issue).
- Yes, you can use any size of the Samsung 960 PRO, 960 EVO, 970 PRO or 970 EVO M.2 M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Hope this helps,
...S
