Error Message : Intel Optane memory requires motherboard with a supported Intel 200 Series Chipset(or later) to be enabled.
I ran the Intel System Support Utility, save and attached the information file herewith.

Well, there you have it. You have a X79 chipset, which is too old and does not support Optane. Does HP provide any documentation about their motherboard to the contrary?
And, you need a 7th gen processor or later:

Yes, but did you look at the link I provided? Show me, specifically, where it says your z820 is supported.
And, your processor is from 2012 - long before the 7th gen processors required to support Optane.
