Hello!

I have trouble setting up some of my Optane Memory sets.

I am running an Acer Aspire A615-51G laptop, does my laptop not support Intel Optane installation? I have run what is in the guidebook and searched for information on the internet, but what I get is a problem "Your system appears to be Intel Optane Memory ready but no Intel Optane memory modules were detected in your computer." help me, how to fix it, I'm already confused.

Hi IFath1, Thank you for posting in the Intel® communities. Since you are using a laptop, I highly recommend you to contact Acer* to get assistance on configuring it for the Intel® Optane™ Memory. I cannot confirm you if your laptop is compatible with the module. Configuring a laptop system is not the same as a Desktop computer. It may be possible that the laptop includes special features from the manufacturer at BIOS and OS level that we are not aware of, so that’s why it’s always recommended to contact the manufacturer before doing any system changes. Based on the message you mentioned in the description, it may be possible that a BIOS configuration is missing (or probably the BIOS should be updated), however only the manufacturer can confirm you if this is indeed the case.
