- This is caused by Windows 10 1903 update.
- To fix this click on Windows key + x.
- Click on Apps and Features.
- Select "Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management" (on the right pane).
- Click on Advanced Options , then click Repair and then Reset.
- Restart your computer.

I upgraded my Windows 10 Pro from 1809 to 1903 last night.

The Intel Optane Pinning Explorer Extension was not installed. All I had was modify or uninstall. I clicked modify and it installed. Seems to be working so far! Thanks, Max Acosta
