Intel Optane H10 Memory not detected

Hello,

I have just got an Intel H10 512 GB+32 GB Optane SSD Module. The Module is not recognized by the Setupoptane or the Intel RST software. It displays only as sperate 500 GB and 27 GB PCIe Devices. I tried to reset both partitions with diskpart (clean command),  converted them to GPT and installed a fresh version of Windows 11 without any change.

In addition I checked the following steps in my BIOS: CSM Disabled, UEFI Mode, set SATA controller to RST and remapped the M.2 PCIe Ports from RST controlled to Non RST controlled and the other way around.

I have also run the Intel Memory and Storage Tool, updated the firmware and checked the drives for corrupted parts. The 32 GB Optane module was correctly recognized by the software as Intel Optane Memory. Prevoiusly I had an M10 32 GB Optane module, paired with a SATA drive, installed, which worked fine.

I am currently running an Intel Core i3 8300 with a Gigabyte B360m DS3H Mainboard (BIOS Version F17) and 4 x 4 GB of DDR4 RAM from Crucial.

Now, I am running out of ideas and any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance for any solutions!

I'm not familiar with your motherboard, therefore it is better to address your question to Gigabyte Support Forum.  Any way I can give you some general advices:

- the Windows should be installed on the slow part (500 GB) rather than on the Optane part (which should remain clear)

- the SAT mode should be set to "Intel RST Premium with Intel Optane..."

- try to follow The User Installation Guide for H Series Optane

- follow para. A-2, page 39 in the board User Manual

Hope this will help

Leon
