Hello, phama,

Thank you for contacting Intel® Memory & Storage Support.

As we understand, you need assistance with your “IBM* server flex x240”, If we infer correctly we will appreciate if you can review the following information:

•   We suggest you contacting your OEM (original equipment manufacturer) in this case IBM*(Lenovo*) to get a list of compatible and tested hardware.

•   In the following link there is a list of compatible hardware provided by your PC manufacturer:

https://lenovopress.com/tips0860-flex-system-x240-compute-node-8737-e5-2600#internal-drive-options

•   In this link you can see that there are several Intel® SSDs as the S3700 series and the S3500 series the main difference between this drives and the Intel® generic drives that you can purchase from any Intel® distributor will be the firmware that in the case of the ones provided by your OEM it is modified to work with your PC.

•   Please check your hardware specification before purchasing any of our “Datacenter SSD” (DC) since we cannot assure you that they will be compatible with your PC. The whole list of our DC SSDs is the following https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark.html#@PanelLabel83425.

Please confirm compatibility with your OEM first before installing any of this drives

We hope you find this information helpful.

We will be looking forward to your reply in case you need further assistance.

Have a nice day.

Best regards,
