Hello,
I had a quick question regarding buses when making a .bdf file. I know that you can specify a 2D bus by writing a bus such as [1..0][15..0], so that i can specify a bus such as [0][15..0], or [1][15..0]. I'm wondering if this same logic applies to making a 3D bus such as, [3..0][1..0][15..0]. If these rules do not apply to higher dimensional buses, is there a way to do it? thanks for the help- Tags:

I just assigned a pin as a multidimensional bus via the name, saw that i was able to compile it for a 2D bus, but as soon as i changed it ot a 3D bus a compiulation error saying illegal multidimensional bus.

Then 2D is your limit.
You can def have 3D in VHDL (maybe Verilog too)
