Hi,

I am using Q9.1, it installed into the C:\Altera\91 folder. Recently I upgraded to Q9.1 service pack 2 and it default installed to c:\altera\91sp2 folder.

I would like to know can I delete the c:\Altera\91 folder after the updating since the new SP software is already in 91sp2 folder?

If You did a clean install, then You can uninstall 9.1. However it could possibly remove some global variables, so it is better to use service pack only to upgrade to 9.1sp2. Anyway, check for the newer software, because I think Your Quartus is not supported anymore:

afaik Altera supports 3 versions total -> 11.0, 10.1sp1, 10.1? I am not sure here.

Anyway, since version 11.0, the 9.x is dead :)
