Hi,

I'm still new in using the Quartus II software. May I know how to select/use the second counter output for pll from the Megawizard Plug-In Manager?

Prompt reply from you guys would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

There is a check-box "use this clock" that you must select to enable the second (or 3rd/4th etc.) output.

Cheers,

Alex

I'm sorry but in which tab is the check-box? I'm using version 15.1 by the way...

And may I know whether the "Output Clock" in the General tab is consider as the counter output?

Thanks!

Under the tab "3) output clocks" => select "clk c1" => "use this clock". Tick this box

Hi Alex,

I think they've change the Megawizard GUI in 15.1. Am assuming c0 = outclk0, c1 = outclk1 and so on...

Indeed, different GUIs for different families (I hadn't spotted Arria V in your tittle).

Under 'output clocks', use the drop down menu next to 'number of clocks'. Select how many you want.

Cheers,

Alex
