I am trying to use the JAM Byte-Code player- with ” ByteblasterMV” -to program a Xilinx CPLD. I have the JBC file for the Xilinx Device compiled but when I try to play it I receive an error, “Bounds error”. I found a fix for this on Xilinx’s website but the fix is for JAM Player not JAM Byte-Code Player. I tried to make the fix work for the JAM Byte-Code Player anyway by editing the C source code and rebuilding the application but I got the same error. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated even if it’s just a guess! Thank you
The fix for Jam Player: Type the following number into the search box on Xilinx website and you will find a link to the article. 14164 I tried to add the link to this post but you must have more than 5 posts to add links.Link Copied

Anyone? Have any of you ever used JAM Player or JAM Byte-Code player to program Xilinx CPLDs?

If I want to use one tool to program both Altera CPLDs and Xilinx CPLDs what would you suggest?
