Hi @ all,

I want to use the DDR SDRAM High Performance COntroller. On Page 1-6 of the ug_ddr_sdram.pdf is written somthing about the open core plus evaluation.

Do I undestand the doc right that I need a license to use this controller for more than 1 hour in my design?

It would be very nice to get useful answers.

Regards

Steffen

It doesnt matter what the IP is. In Open core mode you can use it for as long as you like for free as long as your PC and quartus is tethered to the FPGA via JTAG. Once you break that connection the IP will eventually time out and turn off.
