DDR2 SDRAM controller import in dsp builder

Hi I am using cyclone II device, dsp builder and quartus II v6.0 software tools. I am working on image processing project. I want to save a full 640x480 resolution frame (rgb) in RAM and then pick data in 64x64 resolution block-sets for further processing. For this purpose I want to use DDR2 external RAM in my dsp builder design, as DDR2 SDRAM controller megaCore function not exist in dsp builder so I want to import DDR2 SDRAM controller from quartus II to dsp builder. I want to ask, is DDR2 SDRAM controller work efficiently in dsp builder or there are issues to use DDR2 SDRAM controller in dsp builder?Can anyone guide me if he ever use DDR2 SDRAM controller??? Thank You
