I am trying to order a TeraAsic DE1-SOC for learning OpenCL for FPGA. Before ordering the kit, I wanted to know if the OpenCL license for this board is an additional purchase or is bundled with the Kit?
DE5 Kit needs a separate purchase of the OpenCL license, but is ambiguous for DE1SOC. Appreciate the help.Link Copied

--- Quote Start --- Need to buy from Altera or Terasic? Altera opencl SDK price is $995 (i assume this is the license). Seems expensive for a $250 board. --- Quote End --- It also does not work with the web edition (installer complains about incorrect version) so you will need a full edition of Quartus as well. $4k for a $250 board.
