Hello Altera-Profis,
I want to program a EPM7128SLC84-15 in a university project. I have already programmed it on a computer in the university. Now I want to work with the Board on my own Computer. But every time I want to load the Project on the chip I get following Message:Error (209001): JTAG ID code specified in JEDEC STAPL Format File does not match any valid JTAG ID codes for device
I use following Quartus Version: 13.0.1 Build 232 06/12/2013 SP 1 SJ Web Edition I can not match the right CPLD in the Programmer, so I think i need some JTAG ID codes for my CPLD or? In the Programmer is the Device: EPM7128SL84. So it is the wrong device which is deteced. I hope you can help me. best greets Lennart

What is the prgramming file exactly ?
I have found in the Compilation Repot in the Assembler Setting following Option: "Generate a JEDEC STAPL Format File (.jam) for Target Device | Off" Is that the wrong Setting? How can I change it? Thank you for replying.- Mark as New

I meant the Quartus II file that tells it how to program the device.

In the Programmer, the .pof file is listed and there I checked "Program/Configure" Are there more files to "install" ?- Mark as New

No. It's part of the installation.

Oh..yes I have installed all Device Familys during installation. But I am not sure because in the programmer I have no option for "EPM7128SLC84" but "EPM7128SL84". Although it works in university with the option " EPM7128SL84" too.
