IO Ports in schematic files dont get updated-- Quartus II

Hi ,,

I am new to quartus II tool. I am working on a design using Quartus II 9.1 and trying to modify the IO ports of a design in the vhdl file. But it does not get updated in the toplevel schematics (.bdf) file. ...

I have tried to compile the entire design and also tried to close and open the project after Processing--> Start --> Analysis & Elaboration. But still my port does not show up in the schematic file.

Could someone tell me what am I doing wrong ?

Thanks,

Venkat.

There's an option to update the symbols.
