Hi All:

(As you can see we are on 7.2 either SP1 or SP2.  Pete

Try to close the project and delete the "db" subfold. 

If it does it again could be an issue about the family and only the service request they can help you.

Hi Darkwave.. Thanks for the reply. 

 We tried deleting the db directory with no joy, but we have it working right now.  It seems to work with our "Dongle" license, but not the "Floating" license for quartus..  Very strange. Anyway, if we get a definitive answer from Altera to the cause, I'll post it.
