Not an answer but it would help if you said where you are trying to download it from, what page are you on when you click download ?

Not an answer, but I am also having the same issue.
For example, I am attempting to download a Legacy version of Quartus, e.g. 11.1.
The link directs me to an 'Invalid URL' error page.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem too. I click on V12.1sp1 on the download page and it sends me to a "download.altera.com" address, which is a completely invalid URL, and the screen it displays tells me exactly that. Intel support, in their infinite wisdom, said that I should go here to find the solution to my problem. Now, you tell me, who on this list of users is going to be able to fix an "Invalid URL" error for me?
Seriously, you forum guys can be a big help at times, but Intel just blowing off my direct complaint, and suggesting that I post it here, is just plain LAZY on their part. You would think that this is the sort of thing they would want to know, but..... Nooooo. I predict that this will remain a problem for a very, very long time.
I.am.outta.here. Intel doesn't pay me enough to do their work for them.

Just so that I'm sure I understand. For an "Invalid URL" error, you want me to post it on the forum and wait for an answer there?
No thanks. I.am.outta.here. Don't have the time for this.

Subject: Invalid URL
Inquiry: I am trying to install Quartus V12.1SP1 to support a development board I have that uses "\altera\12.1sp1\kits\arriaVGX_5agxfb3hf35_start" software/firmware. When I click on either the individual files or the .iso files, switches to "http://download.altera.com/software/acdsinst/12.1sp1/243/standalone/12.1sp1_243_quartus_windows.exe" and then tells me it is an invalid URL.
I can not download 12.1sp1. The dev kit requires 12.1sp1. That means that I can not use any of the examples included in the kit.
What can I do to get the required version? I've tried changing the path to point to my newer version, but I am unable to get that to work either.

Hello Karim,
I was able to download the "Quartus II Web Edition v12.0 Service Pack 2" by manually adding "akdlm/" to the url after "download.altera.com/".

Same problem here with the Quartus II Web Edition v12.0 Service Pack 2.
Link: http://download.altera.com/software/acds/12.0sp2/263/standalone/12.0sp2_263_quartus_free_windows.exe leads to an Invalid URL error.

Harald

Can I download 12.1sp1_243_quartus_windows.exe from anywhere?
I understand this is a 10y old software release, but I need access to it as the Arria V BTS will not work with any other version.
The current Intel download page only has 13.0 and up.
These links do not work unfortunately
