Hello,

i recently started out with ModelSim, and am pretty new to it. I have encountered a problem with the transcript file, i.e. i can't seem to set the default setting.

When ModelSim is launched in the transcript window there is no line that says reading modelsim.ini however the location of the transcript file is in my PWD. so i am guessing that there is some default setting that reads this default modelsim.ini file.

I consulted the manual and it does say that the location of the transcript will remain in the original location as the program reads from the first modelsim.ini file unless the user manually types in a few commands.

I would like to disable this setting so that when i luanch ModelSim i specify the working directory and the modelsim.ini file read from that location will be the first.

any tips on how to proceed ?
