Modelsim is exiting with code 9

The message is displayed while executing the simulation.  

 

「Modelsim is exiting with code 9」# ** Fatal: (vsim-4) ***** Momory allocation failure. *****# Please check your system for available memory and swap space. 

 

Now, momory is 2GB and swap sizes is 5000MB 

How much are necessary PC specs? 

Besides the memory, is there a cause?

Did you try using the -novopt option on your vsim command.

I try the -novopt ,but the problem still exist. is there any other cause?
