Hi,

I'm having problems with NativeLink. Quartus (std) doesn't open QuestaSim. I specified the correct location in EDA tools options and I set the simulation and NativeLink settings (tool name and test bench).

In the terminal I see this error:

I get the same error by trying to run Questa Intel FSE. I didn't find anything about this Tk library. I'm using linux alma9. Thank you in advance for your help.

Could you try running the example design from the user guide below to determine if the issue is design-dependent?

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/703090/21-1/simulation-quick-start.html

Additionally, the OS you are using does not appear to be officially supported. Please try running the simulation on a different machine with a supported OS to check if the issue persists.

Hi,

I tried to do the same in the same project with Riviera Pro, and NativeLink works properly opening Riviera as expected.

Until now everything in Quartus worked properly on my machine. This is the only issue that I had.

This issue is likely related to the operating system.

Could you try running Quartus on a supported OS and see if the problem persists?

Additionally, please check that your machine system meet the minimum Hardware and Software Requirements.

Any update on this? Do you observe similar issue with supported OS?

I would suggest uninstall Quartus & Questa (everything related to Altera software) and reinstall again.

Do take note that you may try to install Altera software on the non-supported OS but you will have to bear your own risk and there will be no technical support as well.
