Quartus Prime 18.1 in Win 10.
All text in a .bdf is too large to fit in its text box due to display
scaling. I.E. PLL gets chopped to “PL” or CLOCK_50 to “CLOCK 5”
Display is a 4k with a windows text scaling of 150% (settings – display – scale and layout – change size of text = 150%). It would appear that the scale factor is being applied by both the system and by the app.
Verified by setting system text scaling to 100% and everything looks fine. Except, 4k display at 100% is prone to eye strain. Note reboot is required for settings to take effect, restarting app is insufficient.

Hi,
I appreciate your efforts.
Can you please help me to confirm the bug by providing the screenshots of the bdf file before & after the setting?
Best Regards

Updated bug report: text scaling problem tracks the system screen scaling for the primary display. Secondary displays may have screen scaling != 100% and display properly. Thus, a workaround is set a display with 100% scaling as primary, and the display is correct on all displays.
Screenshot with primary display scaling = 150%
